Substance Abuse Counselor/ Group Facilitator
Seeking experienced part-time group facilitator for community-based substance abuse groups in Suffolk and Virginia Beach locations. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience and knowledge of treatment models for substance abuse (motivational enhancement, CBT). Flexible work schedule for morning, afternoon and/or evening groups preferred.
Ideal candidate will hold a degree in the behavioral sciences from an institution of higher learning and/or at least 1 year experience in a community-based drug/alcohol treatment setting. Must have knowledge and experience in individual and group counseling and supportive recovery services for persons with substance abuse disorders. Licensure (LPC, LCSW, LCP) or CSAC REQUIRED. Salary is commensurate to experience
